Generative-content terms

Joisk offers different quality tiers of AI generation. The standard generators use openly-licensed models and are governed only by the Terms of Service. The premium generators— the ones surfaced with a “terms apply” label — route your request to third-party AI providers whose licenses attach conditions. These Generative Terms flow those conditions through to you, and by using a premium generator you agree to them.

Subject to your compliance with these Generative Terms, you may use the images, audio, video, 3D, text, and other assets you generate with the premium generators (“Generated Assets”) inside the apps, sites, stores, games, and other products you build and publish or sell on Joisk — including using, reproducing, modifying, publicly displaying, and commercially distributing them as part of those finished products. To the extent Joisk holds any rights in the raw output, we assign or license them to you for that purpose. This is not an exclusive right (see below).

When you use a premium generator, you agree that you will:

• use Generated Assets inside a finished product (a game, app, site, or store) — and not resell or redistribute them on their own as raw asset packs, stock libraries, sound/sample packs, prompt collections, datasets, or model files;
• not use Generated Assets, or the underlying models' outputs, to train, fine-tune, distill, or build a competing AI or machine-learning model or service;
• not generate a real person's voice, face, or likeness, or copyrighted characters, logos, or trademarks, unless you hold the rights or permissions to do so;
• not generate content that is illegal, that sexually exploits or endangers minors, that is deceptive (including non-consensual deepfakes or misleading synthetic media), or that infringes or misappropriates another's rights;
• not remove, obscure, or alter any provenance signal or watermark (such as SynthID) that a provider embeds in output; and
• clearly disclose that content is AI-generated wherever applicable law or a platform you distribute on requires it.

The premium generators depend on third-party AI providers. Your rights in Generated Assets can be no broader than the rights Joisk holds from the relevant provider, and are subject to that provider's acceptable-use and license terms as they apply to the output. Providers may update their terms, models, or availability, and we may change, add, remove, or suspend a generator at any time; where a change materially narrows your rights in output you have already generated, we will use reasonable efforts to let you keep using it as before, but we cannot guarantee it.

Generated Assets are not guaranteed to be unique — the same or similar output may be produced for others — and, in many jurisdictions, purely AI-generated material may not be protectable by copyright. This means that while you may use and sell Generated Assets as permitted here, you may not be able to stop others from using identical or similar output, and you should not represent Generated Assets as wholly original human-authored work where that matters.

You are solely responsible for what you generate, how you use it, and everything you publish or sell that incorporates Generated Assets, including ensuring you have the necessary rights and that your use complies with these Generative Terms, the Terms of Service, provider terms, and applicable law. You agree to indemnify and hold Joisk harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your generation or use of Generated Assets, on the same basis set out in the Terms of Service.

Generated Assets and the premium generators are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that output will be accurate, non-infringing, unique, fit for any purpose, or free of provider restrictions. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in the Terms of Service apply to your use of the generators and Generated Assets.
